nehru institute of engineering & technology was established in the year 2006 under the aegis of nehru college of educational and charitable trust. it is a private college which is situated in coimbatore, tamil nadu. the college has been affiliated with anna university, chennai. it has been recognised by ugc and has also been approved by the aicte, new delhi. the college has also been accredited by naac as well as nba. in order to help students meet the highest standards in academic, research, and leadership skills, the college provides labs, workshops, and libraries that are well-equipped. it is equipped with enough sports facilities to handle recreational and sporting events. the institute places a lot of emphasis on environmentally friendly living.
