dsms durgapur, located in durgapur, west bengal, was established in 1990. the college is affiliated with kazi nazrul university (knu) and the west bengal university of health sciences (wbuhs). it is approved by the indian nursing council (inc) and the west bengal nursing council (wbnc). under dsms durgapur, there are three colleges: dsms college of tourism and management, dsms college of healthcare management, and dsms institute of nursing. the dsms institute of nursing offers gnm and b.sc nursing programmes. the gnm course, which is three years long, has an intake of 44 students, while the four-year b.sc nursing programme has an intake of 60 students. established in 2021, these nursing courses are affiliated with the west bengal university of health sciences (wbuhs), the indian nursing council (inc), and the west bengal nursing council (wbnc). dsms durgapur also offers courses in business administration, hospital management, finance management, and computer application. admissions are based on student merit, and placements are provided to eligible students.
