om kothari institute of management and research (okimr) is a private institution founded in 1995 and named after its founder, the late shri om kothari. the institute is approved by aicte and ugc. it is affiliated with rajasthan technical university and the university of kota. okimr offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. among the popular programs are bba, bca, ba, b.sc, mba, and msw. admission to the undergraduate courses and msw programs is based on merit. for the mba program, selection is either through direct admission or cmat scores via the rmap (rajasthan management admission process) counselling. in 2023, the highest package offered during the mba placements at okimr was rs 3.84 lpa. some of the top recruiters include axis bank, logus rags, om toyota, green city software, indian defense services (army), icici bank, and cognus technology.
