lamrin tech skills university (ltsu) is a private institution in punjab, established under punjab state act no. 22 of 2021 and approved by ugc new delhi as per the ugc act 1956. as the first industry-incubated skill university in india, ltsu boasts ibm and rert as academic partners, with tata technologies and ansys corporation as industry partners. founded in 2021, the university spans 80 acres in the shivalik hills' foothills, near ropar, alongside the satluj river. ltsu offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses in diverse fields such as management, pharmacy, engineering, commerce, and computer applications. the university aims to bridge the skill gap by integrating technology with practical skills, preparing future leaders. the fees for various courses range from rs 40,000 to rs 1.5 lakh. additionally, ltsu provides two job-ready courses: bca in cloud computing/cyber security (ixp) and mca in cloud computing/cyber security (ixp). admissions to ltsu courses are based on the candidate’s academic performance in their last qualifying examination. the curriculum, designed by industry professionals, enhances the candidates' skills to meet their career goals. besides its own exceptional faculty, ltsu's affiliations with globally recognized universities ensure that students receive training from top mentors. these international collaborations are structured to offer comprehensive development, guided by expert academicians and seasoned professionals in global technology standards.
