the imayam college of education was established in 2006, and the imayam industrial school of hotel management and catering technology was founded the same year. accredited by ncte, tamilnadu teachers education university, and the state government of tamilnadu, the imayam college of education was founded in 2007. the imayam college of engineering was established in 2009, followed by the imayam institute of agriculture and technology in 2010. iiat is affiliated with tamil nadu agricultural university and is the 5th private self-financing college affiliated with tnau.
